During our winter shutdown period, we have been very busy ! Various teams across the Railway have been renewing and repairing parts of our infrastructure which can only be done when we are not running trains. This includes our dining train.
Our Kitchen Coach former British Railway RK No. 80030 has been given an internal refurbishment by our maintenance teams along with annual statutory gas inspections. It entered our workshops on the 6th January and returned to service on the 3rd February. The most striking change being its freshly painted exterior. In the months to come our customers will be able to make use of our on board Wi-Fi to order snacks and drinks to their seats. The opportunity was also taken to install a dedicated sound system for our dining train for future projects. Our dining carriages are also going through our workshops in time for the start of our main season, so we start the year with a fully refreshed train.
Bookings can now be made online for our 2023 season, or a voucher can be purchased for the ideal surprise gift.
