Job description
The Churnet Valley Railways dining train is looking for new members of staff to join the team.
Steam train dining is a restaurant on a train with journeys lasting 2 hours, in which time you may be required to help serve up to 90 people a 3 course meal. In busy periods you will need to be able to remain calm, focused, as well as communicate clearly. This is to provide the best experience for both guests and your colleagues. You will be expected to arrive promptly every day, as well as look presentable for the customers.
Your days will start and finish at Cheddleton Station. The beginning of each day will include loading the train with the fresh produce, making notes of any dietary requirements/ special requests of guests, as well as helping to set the train for breakfast or dinner (training will be provided). At the end of the day a full clean down of the kitchen and restaurant coaches will be required, as well as the safe storage of any food or drink produce.

Job Types Available : Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 10 per week
