The Churnet Valley Railway is slowly but surely reaching its near 50-year destination, with work to re-open to Leek progressing and some form of services aimed to reach this market town in 2023.
The last major extension the CVR undertook was back in 2001 with the extension to Kingsley& Froghall, and following this our now iconic illustrated map was first publicised on our 2002 leaflet. Now over 20 years old, this distinguishable image has featured almost continuously on our annual leaflet but with the extension to Leek it requires an update. Sadly we have lost contact with the original Illustrator, so we are looking to see if there is a supporter out there available to update this image for ourselves?
If there is a professional Illustrator out there able to assist, please get in touch via
