The Churnet Valley Railway was delighted to be chosen as the host for Staffordshire Moorlands Tourist Board’s leaflet swap on 4th April, as representatives from over 50 businesses descended on Kingsley & Froghall station.
Visiting locomotive "Whiston" was on display in steam, situated at the head of a typical service train that guests were able to walk through to learn what awaits those who take a journey on the picturesque Churnet Valley Railway . Located in each coach were leaflet’s from the various businesses supporting the event, advertising all the exciting things to see and do in North Staffordshire during the upcoming year. Froghall’s "Signal Tearooms" was open serving a buffet for all those attending, and our in-house dining team were on hand to answer any questions regarding both our Tearooms and our dedicated "Moorlander Dining Train".
